REHABILITATION OF RUTARA DAM KICK-OFF IN KENYA
The Rehabilitation process for Rutara dam has kick-off in Kenya. This was announced via the social media handle of the President’s Delivery Unit (PDU) in Kenya.
According to PDU, the dam is kicking off its phase one which is funded by the National Government. They also announced that the dam will boost water storage and retention.

While the second phase will include the construction of water treatment unit, water storage tanks, laying of pipelines and the installation of pumping units to supply around 24,000 residents of Ngorika and Kirogono areas.
